Sauteed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. fresh mushrooms, rinsed and sliced
  • 1 Tbs. coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp. sea or kosher salt
  • 1 Tbs. fresh cracked black pepper
  • 2 Tbs. chopped basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat saute' pan add coconut oil, mushrooms, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stir to coat in oil and continue to cook approximately 2 minutes.
  3. Add basil and continue cooking 2 more minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, serve, and enjoy.

Notes

Can be served as a side dish, over meats, add to pizza, pasta or sauces.

  3. I make the above mushrooms, but always add a couple cloves of minced garlic. Yum!

    I have also discovered the most wonderful receipe for the mushrooms we have been getting. I wash them and throw them all in a bowl with some brown mustard, olive oil, balsamic, salt, pepper, and some herbs if you have any. I then roast them in the oven at 400 degress for 20 minutes shaking the pan abou t1/2 way through. SO SO Good!!!
